Jonas Schmitt is a 22-years-old midfielder who was born and raised in Germany. He started his career at his local soccer club from where he transferred into the U11s of TSV Großbardorf to compete on the highest level in his age group. After 6 years and leading the team as the captain for one year, Jonas decided to make the next step in his career by joining 1. FC Schweinfurt 05. After playing in the second highest youth league for four consecutive years and being pointed as the captain during his last year in the U19s, he decided to move to the US in order to complete his college graduation while playing highly competitive college soccer.

At Flagler College in Saint Augustine, FL, he was a key player and started almost every game for all four seasons as a central midfielder. His highlight was winning the Peach Belt Conference tournament championship in 2021.

With his last year of college soccer eligibility he will be playing for Florida Tech this upcoming Fall while completing his Masters in Accounting and Financial Forensics.
